Royal Ascot winners to follow
It pays to keep betting on the heroes of the Royal Ascot 2021.
Palace Pier might be the best miler in the world. He has beaten Pinatubo and lost only once when losing a shoe, according to our Auren ratings, which are even higher than his Jockey Club ratings, Palace Pier will continue unbeaten for a while.
Poetic Flare showed, that when everything is OK, he is very classy.
Love was probably the most impressive winner during the Royal Ascot meeting. She didn't win by a big margin, but she showed that king of fighting spirit we reward with extra Auren points in our methodology.
On Tuesday Oxted remained calm enough to win for us 6-1 midprice. He is of course not a G1-horse, but he'll win some more races.
From the very good Royal Ascot 2-year-old races, we'll find many good future investment objects, and not only from the winners. I'll publish a horses-to-follow-list, when we have watched, clocked and analyzed the races and compiled the Auren ratings.
In a similar way, as the classy Royal Ascot winners, we'll probably keep winning in the British Racing.
We might have been lucky for the last half-century, or alternatively, our philosophy, models, methods, and tool give us a constant edge.
Yesterday we took maximum wins from the ColossusBets P4-rollover and a decent share from the P6 placepot. We won with the same ideas from the other markets, too.
We took a stand against Campanelle - as we did against all the Wesley Ward's runners throughout the week. Unfortunately, our dream-winner Dragon Symbol hung right and bumped Campanelle twice. Dragon Symbol was first past the post, but he was moved second, and Campanelle was awarded the race.
It is hard to say, which one was the better horse. In the long run, it doesn't matter. If our ratings and pace/trip-handicapping-based philosophy do work, the individual results make no difference.
And: how much is enough? Our ColossusBets syndicate members won as a whole already with these results. Sooner or later we'll make a real killing. And only two weeks ago we scooped the whole rollover from the Windsor jackpot.
The key to our Friday success was the classy Alcohol Free. In this ColossusBets blog yesterday I wrote:
Here our Auren-figures have the biggest difference with the Jockey Club Official Ratings and the market, so we need to bet accordingly. 401 Alcohol Free was beaten by 406 Mother Earth in the 1000 Guineas, but our numbers say, that she is an almost as good filly and with the expected percentage of the ColossusBet combinations bet, Alcohol Free should offer better value.
Alcohol Free won decisively. Only 10% of the ColossusBets lines survived. we had Alcohol Free in an overweight and bet her elsewhere, too, at mid-price 7-1.
