The 2022-2023 Premier League season was a turbulent one for Crystal Palace. Having started the campaign under the leadership of Patrick Vieira, expectations were high following a promising first season. However, the second season wasn't as smooth, leading to Vieira's sacking midway through the campaign.
Experienced manager Roy Hodgson was brought in to steady the ship. Under his guidance, Palace managed to climb the table and secure an 11th place finish.
